Affordable Art Fair’s fall edition is only a week away, opening for the Private Preview Wednesday Oct 2nd, and running through the weekend, closing Oct 6th. This fall there are plenty of events and happenings to keep you busy throughout the week and into the weekend. Check out this full list of events and programs below. Skip the lines and buy your ticket online here. Special Events Private Preview Party Wednesday, Oct 2, 7pm – 10pm A can’t-miss event – be the first to browse and buy the works you love! The Photobooth Party Wednesday, Oct 2, 7pm – 10pm In partnership with The Art Dossier and artist Chad Kouri, the Fair will host The Photobooth Party during the opening night Private Preview. Drop by the photobooth at the entrance of the fair for a fun and interactive experience with the artist himself, where you become part of the work! Live Art Drawing Israeli black-and-white sketch artist Nissim Ben Aderet will create art live at Contempop’s booth, B-14, during all public hours. Take advantage of this rare opportunity to see an artist working in person at the Fair. Free Admission Hours Friday, Oct 4, 6pm – 8pm Drop in during these evening hours, no ticket or RSVP needed. Talks and Tours An Artist’s Take with Chad Kouri Take a walk with multidisciplinary artist Chad Kouri as he explores the wide variety of media on view at the Fair – you will gain a whole new perspective on the Fair when seen from an artist’s point of view. Be sure to see Chad’s work, including a limited edition print created specially for the Fair, in The Art Dossier booth and on the Under $500 Wall. Friday, October 4, 6:30pm Behind the Scenes with The Art Dossier Co-founder of The Art Dossier, Yolande Whitcomb will lead tour through the fair highlighting up-and-coming young artists. Saturday, October 5, 2pm Director’s Tour with Cristina Salmastrelli Join Cristina for a personal tour of the Fair, with a special look at her favorite works, focusing on international galleries and those new to the Fair. Saturday, October 5, 4pm Designing your Interiors – Affordably! Join Betsy Hellmuth, the founder of Affordable Interior Design, for a tour focused on decorating your home with artworks available at the fair, at prices within everyone’s reach.
